From Elkton, MD: Go to 213 South (you know the intersection on Rt. 40 where there is a McDonald's, Burger King, & Wendy's). Drive south for 20 miles. You are in Galena. DRIVE SLOW!!! We are famous for our speed trap. There is only one stop light in Galena. Go straight across the intersection (213 becomes 313). We are one block down on the left. Olivet UMC is right across the street from Galena Elementary School. From Chestertown, MD: Go North on 213 about 14 miles. You are in the beautiful town of Galena. DRIVE SLOW!!! We are famous for our speed trap. There is only one stop light in Galena. Turn right at the light (313 South). We are one block down on the left. Olivet UMC is right across the street from Galena Elementary School. From Annapolis, MD: Take Rt. 50 and cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Bear left to go North on US-301 and go Northeast for 52.7 miles. Turn left on MD-313. The church is on your right just as you enter the town. DRIVE SLOW!!! We are famous for our speed trap. Olivet UMC is right across the street from Galena Elementary School. From Dover, DE: Go North on Rt 13 to Cheswold. Turn left (West) on Rt 42. Drive West through the town of Kenton. Keep going West. Rt 42 Delaware becomes 330 Maryland. Keep going West. At the little town of Massey go straight across the intersection (330 turns into 313). Stay on 313 West and you will cross Rt 301. Getting across 301 is not easy. It is a "J" turn, so you have to turn right on 301, do a U turn, and come back to 313 and turn right. This can be a dangerous intersection, so be careful. Once you get across 301, just follow 313 into Galena. The church is on your right just as you enter the town. DRIVE SLOW!!! We are famous for our speed trap. Olivet UMC is right across the street from Galena Elementary School. From Wilmington, DE: Pretend you are going to Christiana Mall. Take I95 south to Exit 4 to Christiana Mall. But instead of going to the Mall, take Route 1 South. Go across the C&D Canal Bridge and keep going South. Take the Middletown, DE exit Rt 299 and go right into Middletown. Drive through Middletown on 299 and turn left (South) on to Rt 301. Continue south on 301 into Maryland. Take the exit at Rt 290 (see photo below) and turn right to go to Galena, Maryland. Stay on 290 for 4 miles until you reach the stop light in Galena. DRIVE SLOW!!! We are famous for our speed trap. There is only one stop light in Galena. Turn left at the light (313 South).
