USHERS NEEDED
Rev. Julie A. Lewis, Head Usher for the 2024 Annual Conference, is seeking others to be ushers during the various services. Ushers play a vital role in our church communities, embodying the spirit of hospitality and selflessness. Ushers make our church experiences all the more enriching and meaningful.

We are seeking ushers to help with a variety of duties during Annual Conference including:

  •     - handing out programs and other materials,
  •      - collecting various offerings,
  •      - assisting people getting on and off stage as needed,
  •      - possibly overseeing any voting assistance,
  •      - and of course, other duties as assigned.

If you will serve as an usher for Annual Conference, please email Rev. Julie Lewis at revjulielewis@gmail.com

SCRIPTURE
The guiding Scripture passage for the Annual Conference session is Romans 12:1, 9-12: "I appeal to you therefore, brothers and sisters, on the basis of God’s mercy, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable act of worship. … Let love be genuine; hate what is evil, hold fast to what is good; love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor. Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, and serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.”
