Our Response to the Hurricane's and Flooding
Have you been wondering how you and your church can help the victims of the recent hurricanes and flooding? The Conference Volunteers in Mission Team has the answer ..... by assembling flood buckets and other kits for distribution from the warehouse at Mission Central in Mechanicsburg, PA.

October Is Pastor Appreciation Month
Although we should be showing our appreciation to our pastors and their families all year long, October has been set aside to bring special attention to us to take time and show our appreciation. A card, a call, or simple say 'Thank you" the next time you see them for everything that they do. Theirs is a special 'call' and one that we should be grateful to them as well as our good Lord for bringing them to us to share their ministry....
Laity Sunday, October 19th
The 2008 Laity Sunday for The United Methodist Church is being observed this week, October 19th. This year's theme is One in Spirit, All in Ministry; In the Spirit of Fellowship.
